Something's Watching from the Woods
It was supposed to be an amazing weekend. The campers found the perfect site to pitch their tents and settled in for some R&R among the pines, lakes, and stars. But then something went horribly wrong. No one could sleep at night. They all had the tingling feeling that another set of eyes was following their every move. A foul smell floated on the night breeze, and strange rustlings were everywhere. Then one by one, the campers started disappearing.

The legend is true: this exclusive Wendigo Adult Costume is the perfect scary outfit for Halloween! The jumpsuit has hook & loop fastener at the back and is made of soft brown long pile faux fur. A molded rib cage is attached to the chest to make it look like the creature is decaying while still alive. Shoe covers conceal your shoes and gloves with extra-long fingers will terrify your victims - er, your friends - as you reach in their direction. The hood/mask looks like a bleached skull and has attached antlers.
A Different Kind of Hunter
Just like the vampire, the werewolf, and its other monster cousins, the wendigo is great at two things: Being terrifying and being dangerous. Fortunately, there's a variety that prefers attending costume parties over hunting humans. These are easily identified because they'll always seek out a candy bowl instead of trying to chew off someone's arm. Even so, they can still be threatening when hungry, so make sure that it always has snacks on hand.

Size LargeAt a first glance and first wear, I'd say this costume is great. It closes in around the body quite well and as some interesting choices, such as having the boot covers separate from the main jumpsuit. Makes it easier to put on generally speaking and prevents the risk of the cover exposing too much when I raise my leg a bit high.
However, I do have a couple of minor gripes, one regarding fastening and the other more or less just a unlucky quality defect. The first one is more to do how the jumpsuit uses hook and loop for the fastening. When I first saw the costumes description before it got onto sale, it states that it would a back zipper instead. Which I personally believe is more efficient as proven with previous pieces. Not sure why there was the last minute change, but oh well. The other complaint is; as previously mentioned more or less me having an unlucky defect. The left hand glove had a small hole just under where the thumb would slide in, cause from what I see as a misstep in the sewing. Though this could be easily fixed one way or another, and I reckon it would be hard to notice anyway.
Nevertheless, I do generally love how this costume as turned out, as I am a fan of mythical creatures to a certain degree and this feels right, despite the unlucky defect.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
